The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has commissioned LACAVERNA LIFESTYLE, the largest indigenous club and lounge east of the Niger, located in Awka, Anambra State.

This initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and promoting economic growth.

Change of Name

The announcement was contained in a statement signed by Rev. Innocent Chukwudi Peace-Udochukwu, media consultant for LACAVERNA LIFESTYLE. The statement described the event as a monumental celebration, marking the arrival of a state-of-the-art entertainment and relaxation hub in Anambra State.

In his remarks, Prof. Soludo commended the Chief Executive Officer of LACAVERNA LIFESTYLE, Mr. Ifeanyi Okafor-Egbeda, for his visionary project and his commitment to the Akụluọnụ ideology—a call for Ndi Igbo to invest in their homeland for sustainable development.

Represented by Comrade Don Onyenji, the Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, the Governor emphasized the importance of local investments that drive job creation, economic growth, and community development.

“This investment is not just about creating another nightclub. The vision behind LACAVERNA LIFESTYLE is to establish a grand, multifunctional entertainment complex that offers luxury, relaxation, and vibrant social experiences for people of all ages.

“The facility, which spans over 18 plots of land, includes an exotic nightclub, a fine-dining restaurant serving African and international cuisines, a swimming pool, a rooftop bar with panoramic views, and a secure parking lot accommodating over 200 cars.

“Described as a multi-billion Naira establishment, the facility represents the epitome of modernity and comfort in Awka, providing a luxurious, safe space for relaxation and entertainment”, the Governor noted.

The Governor lauded Mr. Okafor-Egbeda’s dedication to the development of Anambra State and Igboland as a whole. He urged Ndi Igbo to emulate this effort by investing in their homeland.

“Mr. Okafor-Egbeda’s project is a testament to the state government’s efforts to create an enabling environment for business. This establishment will create jobs, boost the local economy, and attract more investors to the region,” Prof. Soludo stated.

Mr. Ifeanyi Okafor-Egbeda, expressing his strong belief in the Akụluọnụ ideology, described his investment as a deliberate effort to inspire other potential investors.

“We are the ones who will develop our homeland. Developing Igboland is a task that must be done, and I am proud to be part of this movement. I hope my investment here will inspire others to follow suit,” he said.

The statement further highlighted LACAVERNA LIFESTYLE as a game-changer in Anambra’s entertainment landscape, offering unparalleled relaxation and leisure experiences.

Addressing Key Concerns
Rev. Innocent Chukwudi Peace-Udochukwu emphasized the facility’s expansive parking lot as a solution to the common parking challenges faced by club-goers in the region.

“The LACAVERNA experience is about more than luxury and fun. It’s about creating a safe, secure environment where people can unwind and enjoy themselves. We’ve invested heavily in security and other facilities to ensure our guests feel valued and catered for,” he said.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including:

Honorable Ossy Onuko, Managing Director and CEO of Awka Capital Development Authority, recognized for his commitment to infrastructural development in the city.

Dr. Nwabufo Nwankwo, Permanent Secretary of the Government House, whose meticulous administrative efforts have bolstered effective governance.
