The All Progressives Congress, APC, Obi Local Government, Nasarawa state branch has suspended, Council Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Iyimoga Oyigye from the party.
The suspension of the Council Chairman is coming from his electoral ward as enshrined in the constitution of the party, according to the party exco at ward level.
“Stay away from exco meeting. Henceforth, you are no longer a member of this our great party’, he was told.
“Also don’t associate yourself or interfere in the party activities.
CAPITAL POST however, gathered that the exco were divided on suspension of the Chairman which was taken by some of its members.
According to another faction, “Iyimoga remained a card carrying member of the party”, just as they distance themselves from the earlier supension issued.
“We are not part of this decision and will not be part of it”, they insisted.
