Breaking: Bello fires Kogi Internal Revenue Chairman, members, told to vacate office in ten minutes
The Chairman of Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), Alhaji Aliyu Inda Salami has been fired from office.
Along with him, are the Board members after they were summoned to the government house on Monday.
Reliable sources did not divulge reasons the Chairman and Board members were fired, but said the governor ordered them to vacate office within ten minutes.
After the brief meeting with them, government officials accosted them to the Chairman’s office at the Revenue House to supervise their moving out of the office.
Staff of agency were however caught unawares with those who’s documents were billed for the Chairman’s attention stranded in the office on Monday.
Aliyu Inda Salami was appointed Chairman KGIRS in December 2018 and succeeded Senator Yakubu Oseni representing Kogi Central Senatorial that in the Senate.
