The Supreme Court, in its judgment delivered on November 27, 2024, in the case with Appeal No. SC/CV/824/2024, affirmed Ezeokenwa’s chairmanship of APGA. The court’s ruling brought an end to the protracted leadership tussle within the party.

“In compliance with the judgment of the apex court, the Commission has restored Barr. Ezeokenwa as the Chairman of APGA and updated his name on our website accordingly,” Olumekun.

The Supreme Court ruling and INEC’s compliance are expected to stabilize APGA’s leadership as the party prepares for future political engagements.
