The wife of Nasarawa state Governor, Hajiya Silifat has donated the sum of N5 Million to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, as her contribution for the union to purchase a new brand bus.
She made the donation at the grand reception in honor of her husband, Governor, Abdullahi Sule on an award presented to him by Zone D of the Union held at Mosmere hotel Lafia.
Silifat said that the donation was an excitement to her by NUJ, which she more good things are underway for the better working atmosphere for all practicing journalists in the State.
Narrating some of the projects initiated by her hubby include total renovation of press center along, Makurdi road Lafia, proposed NUJ village among other thing aimed at improving the working condition of union members.
She appelead to people of the state especially women journalists to continue to support their administration as to enable her husband to succeed.
