BREAKING: Emir Sanusi II stopped from attending Bichi LG royal event in Kano

The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II on Friday blocked from attending royal event in Bichi Local Government Council Area by security agents.

Sanusi was billed to present a staff of office to the newly appointed District head of Bichi, but was blocked for a yet to be known reasons.

In what look like a pre-meditated action, security agents who are heavily armed and stern look took over the palace gates.

The security personnel mounted Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), to effectively stopped the Emir and curtail any security threat.

He was to accompany the newly appointed Wamban Kano, Munir Sanusi, to his official district posting in Bichi.
CAPITAL POST recalled that Governor Abba Yusuf reinstated the Emir after taking over governance of Kano State in the aftermath of election he won on the platform of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP in 2020.

Sanusi was previously dethroned by the then Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over endless altercation with governor on political issues.
