Senator Gyang Inspects Constituency Projects

Senator Representing Plateau North in the National Assembly Sen. Istifanus Dung Gyang has in pursuit of his desire to ensure that his Constituency projects under the 2020 Budget are executed in accordance with specifications and required standard, undertaken a two day assessment tour of the projects in Jos North, Jos East, B/Ladi and Riyom LGAs of Plateau North Senatorial District.
It would be recalled that Senator Gyang is rated among the top 10 Senators in number of Bills and law making capacity, a feat he manifested in the House of Representatives when he was rated among the top five.
Senator Gyang, who is the Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Defence has not left his Constituents in doubt when it comes to attracting education, social and rural infrastructure.
The inspection tour covered his 2020 Constituency projects which are nearing completion at the following locations, Solar Borehole at Ikukkumung community, Tudun Wada, Jos North, Solar Borehole, Fudawa, Jos North, Three classroom block, Sabon Gari Fobur, Jos East, 200 capacity Town Hall and offices, Heipang, B/Ladi and
Three classroom block, Sanbak, Riyom LGA.
He also took time to inspect a Rural road Grading by FERMA at Rawuru and three classroom project at GSS Rapyam, BLadi LGA constructed under CRDP, World Bank Funded, of which the Senator paid the mandatory 10% counterpart to attract the project to the school.
In Jos North, the Senator interfaced with Angwan Rogo community where it was unanimously agreed that the classrooms earmarked for the community be sited at Ungwan Rimi.
Similarly, a site at ECWA Staff School Junction, Hwol, Jos where Pupils take lessons under a make shift corrugated zinc structure will get a 3 classrooms block from the Senator.
The Senator’s entourage had a detour at the 32nd ECWA Jos DCC Council meeting at its Secretariat on Rukuba road, Jos before proceeding to the recently completed GNS Pwajok Townhall on Bauchi Ring Road which was initiated and built by the late Distinguished Senator GNS Pwajok.
The Minority Leader Plateau State House of Assembly Hon. Peter Ibrahim Gyendeng and Hon Surv. Esther Simi Dusu of Jos North/West accompanied Senator Gyang on the inspection tour amongst other dignitaries and aides.
At all the sites visited, encomiums were showered on the Senator by the people for keeping to his campaign promises and his impact making representation.
Jos South and Bassa LGAs will be next to receive the positive impact touch of the Senator.
