IMAP: New Rector declines handover document, suspects financial malfeasance of outgoing colleague

The New Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia in Nasarawa state, Dr. Justina Anjide Kotso has said she will study the handing over note before appending her signature.
Speaking at the occasion of the handing over ceremony at the school chamber, Dr Kotso exercise restrain over the document handed to her by the outgoing acting rector Dr Ruth Joroco.
She explained that she is not comfortable with the document especially on the financial aspect.
“Give me time to study the handover note before I sign the document presented to me especially the financial aspect. She emphasized.
Dr. Kotso appealed to the management and staff of the institution to cooperate with her in the new task before her.
“I alone cannot make it without your support and cooperation in our quest to move the institution to greater heights, Dr. Kotso said.
The first female and a liberian to be appointed substantive a Rector of the polytechnic, since its inception in 2001 by the administration of Senator, Abdullahi Adamu.
“To the academic union, I’m on my knees begging you to give this new administration a maximum support and cooperation as together we can attain a success.
Speaking in an interview with the former, acting rector, Dr. Joroco she confirmed what the new Rector had said for her to study the handover document.
