Obafemi Awolowo Platinum Leadership honours Dr Buhari for selfless service

For her outstanding performance as the Founder of Daurama Foundation, Dr. Samira Buhari, was on Monday, awarded the Sir Obafemi Awolowo Platinum Leadership Award for philanthropy and selfless services to humanity.

Dr. Buhari was selected for the award after due consideration of her sustained commitment to social development and empowerment of women and young people across Nigeria by the Coalition of Progressive Nigerian Youth Groups.

The award presentation which was held in Abuja, was graced by distinguished members of the Coalition, supporters, and notable figures to celebrate the Daurama Foundation Chief Executive, Dr. Buhari’s impactful initiatives channelled at providing educational support, mentorship, and economic opportunities that foster sustainable development across Nigeria’s underserved communities.

An elated Dr. Buhari expressed her gratitude upon receiving the honour, saying, “This award serves as a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together for positive change.
