Women Affairs workers jubilate after sack of Minister, Uju-Kenedy Ohanenye
Staff of the Ministry of Women Affairs were thrown into wild jubilation immediately it was announced that the Minister in charge of the Ministry, Uju-Kenedy Ohanenye was sacked by President Bola Tinubu.
The Minister was replaced with the ex-Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, the statement from the Presidency has indicated.
Pictures of some workers of the Ministry of Women Affairs were captured in a viral video celebrating the removal of their Minister, Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu sacked seven Ministers who were considered to have underperformed since their appointment last year.
The Ministers who were sacked are Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Prof Tahir Mamman SAN OON, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
