Bokkos Likeminds Association visits Internally Displaced Persons, offers support

A group known as Bokkos Likeminds Association has visited the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bokkos Local Government Area of the Plateau State and donated relief materials.

The Association’s President, Dr. Silas Titus Nguwap, led the delegation acknowledged the unimaginable hardships faced by the displaced individuals and praised their resilience.

The group donated relief materials and cash to the victims.

He noted that the group will Continue to stand with them and are committed to giving you hope.

“Being displaced from your homes, communities, and livelihoods is never easy. Please know that you are not alone in this journey; we are here with you, and we stand beside you.

“Despite the challenges, your strength and courage are truly remarkable. You have endured so much, yet you continue to push forward with resilience. Your ability to maintain hope and determination to rebuild your lives inspires us all.

“Today, we are here not only to listen to your concerns but also to provide tangible support. We are donating several bags of clothing for women and men, as well as cash to the victims. We are committed to giving you hope.

“We extend our gratitude to other NGOs, the church, CAN, individuals, security personnel, and the government who have supported you in various ways to address your needs.

“I appeal to the global community and all who have the ability to make a difference to continue supporting these brave individuals.

Their journey is far from over, and with our collective efforts, we can help them find their way back to a safe and dignified life.
