FCDA lauds Oladesu, shower gifts as he bade farewell after 36 years of service

It was a day of fulfilment for Engr. Taiwo Oladesu as he pulled out after thirty six years of service in Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja.
Oladesu whom many colleagues described as a core professional engineer, with integrity, dedication and humility, meritoriously exited from the service of FCDA on Saturday.
Before his retirement from service, Engr. Oladesu who started from the craddule as a youth corper, rose to an enviable position of Ag. Deputy Director , Water & Sewage Rehabilitation (South), Engineering Infrastructure, Rehabilitation Department of FCDA.
In his opening remark, the Director, Engineering Infrastructure Rehabilitation, Engr. Jato Abdulkareem FNSE, FNIN) lauded the outgoing Ag. Director as a very intelligent and dedicated staff of FCDA, whose expertise will not fissle out unnoticed.
Other senior and co-Deputy Directors praised the retiring Engr. Oladesu for an enterprising team work and meticulous accomplishment that is nourishing for every junior engineers in the department of FCDA.
Responding, the outgoing celebrant, Oladesu was elated for the honour done to him by the department, his superiors and well wishers as he exit the service of the FCDA to which he dedicated his life of service.
Oladesu said, “It was a long journey of thirty six years, as I entered FCT as a corper and the long journey started.
“I thank God for my professional journey and those good friends and colleagues I worker with and particularly, my former boss, Engr. Ahmed, an Executive Secretary from whom I learnt much professionally with simplicity and trust.
“With every challenges we faced, we floated along to accomplishment. So, I always advise those posted to my office and department not to complain, as there are always challenges on the job and you will realise, you need those knowledge and experience in life to succeed.
Engr. Oladesu was honoured with presentation of an Award Plaque and a deep freezer Chest Freezer) by his department as an appreciation of his meritorious service.
