Alile awards 3-year undergraduate scholarship to 3,700 girls in Nigeria

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile has awarded 3-year undergraduate scholarships to 100 girls, drawn from each of the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The scholarship programme which is a collaboration between the Office of the APC National Women Leader and Heart Bible University and Seminary USA, is targeted at supporting the education and empowerment of these young women, totalling 3,700 across the country.

This was disclosed in a notice accredited the Office of the National Women Leader and made available to CAPITAL POST on Monday.

The selected courses for the programme include; IT Support, Project Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Cyber Security, UX Design and Counseling and Psychology.

The focus on female students reflect a commitment by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration to address the educational and gender gaps in Nigeria.

While the scholarship is primarily targeted at young women, the organisers also reserved limited slots for men.
