Reps Bagos empowers constituents, says cooperative scheme would be launched

Member Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos has empowered over 50 persons from his constituency with sewing machines, Grinding Machines and Motorcycles.
Bagos while distributing the items on Wednesday at his Constituency office in Bukuru, Jos South Plateau State to the beneficiaries who are mostly youths and women said the aim was to support them to establish small scale businesses and take care of their families.
The lawmaker who has the slogan equipping the next generation of youths promised to launch a co-oporative scheme in every ward under his constituency next month pleaded with those who did not benefit from the scheme to be patient, as more empowerment programmes are on the way.
Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Plateau State, Hon. Chris Hassan in his remarked at the occasion commended the lawmaker for always making up programmes that will help alleviate the suffering of his Constituents and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.
Some of the beneficiaries from Jos East and Jos South LGC appreciated the Lawmaker for the gesture and promised to use the items for the benefit of their communities.
Amongst dignitaries who attended the event to include the Chairman Northern Zone of the PDP and Former Commissioner of Finance in Plateau State Hon. Davou Mang, Women leaders of Jos South and Jos East and also youth leaders who applauded the lawmaker for always identifying with his Constituents.
