BREAKING: Appeal Court orders Yahaya Bello to avail himself for arraignment

The Court of Appeal on Tuesday in Abuja ruled that the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello should come out of hiding and make himself available for formal arraignment.

Tuesday’s ruling of the appealate Court was in response to the judgement delivered by Kogi State High Court in Lokoja in favour of Bello restraining the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from prosecuting him on criminal offences.

Bello was also restrained from further taking action that will impede on his arraignment in Court.

The former governor is being prosecuted for embezzling over N80.2 billion belonging to Kogi State government.
