BREAKING: Bandits kill Gov’s aide, wife, abduct second wife in Katsina

The Katsina Governor’s aide Sanusi Gyaza has been killed in Gyaza community in Kankia Local Government Council of Katsina State by bandits.

He was killed with one of his wives, while the second wife was abducted on Friday.

Katsina Police Command has confirmed the killing of governor’s aide in response to enquiries by journalists on Sunday.

The Police Public Relations Officer of Katsina State Command, Abubakar Sadiq confirmed this development to journalists, saying: “Yes, we are aware and we are on top of the situation.”

CAPITAL POST gathered that Kankia community is still in shock over the abduction.

The tragic incident has heightened concerns about the escalating insecurity in the state, where the activities of hoodlums, including kidnappings and killings, have become rampant.
