Nigerian Military on Tu upesday May have arrested and taken into custody, one of the most notorious criminals, Terwase Akwaza, alias Gana.
Sources from Makurdi, Benue State capital said, the fugitive Gana had willingly surrendered himself along with many others at the Akume Atongo stadium, Katsina-Ala before he was allegedly arrested by the military at Yandev roundabout in Gboko, Gboko Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
Gana has been a nightmare to the people of Benue and Taraba States with ransom placed on his head by governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
According to sources, he was on his way to Makurdi having being granted an amnesty earlier, but was intercepted by the Military and was taken into custody.
News of Gana has been topical among the residents of Makurdi on Tuesday with people recalling how deadly he has been.
