Kogi SSG, Arike urged Christians to venture into politics, dedicates new RCCG auditorium
The Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Dr. Mrs. Folashade Arike, has urged believers to participate in politics, emphasizing its significance in kingdom service,
Dr. Mrs. Folashade made this charge on Sunday, July 21, 2024, during her visit to the RCCG Winner Crown Parish in Unity Layout Phase 2 Lokoja for the dedication of the parish’s new church auditorium.
The dedication service featured a powerful sermon by Provincial Pastor, Pastor Robert Joshua Igbo, who preached from 2 Kings 6:1-4 (KJV), emphasizing that “When enlargement comes, there will be a breakforth.” He encouraged the congregation to prepare for the next level of God’s blessings and expansion.
The highlight of the dedication was the commissioning of the Auditorium, presentation of awards to Bro. Ojonugwa Adejoh and Bro. Peter Anchor for their meritorious kingdom service and special prayer was also offered for Deacon Bright Akpomeda, the chairman of the Building Committee, for his tireless efforts in overseeing the completion of the new auditorium.
The event was further marked with the cutting of a cake to celebrate the milestone.
Pastor Jonah Joshua, the host pastor, appreciated Arike’s visit with other dignitaries and praised her commitment to kingdom service. The event was attended by parish members, dignitaries, and well-wishers.
Arike expressed gratitude to former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for appointing her as SSG for eight years, acknowledging the opportunity to serve the state. She also thanked His Excellency, Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for finding her worthy of continuation and consolidation.
