Sack reports of Channels TV’s anchor, Seun Okinbaloye fake — Kperogi
A professor of Mass Communication and popular newspaper columnist, Farooq Kperogi, on Saturday, social media reports that Seun Okinbaloye of Channels Television has been sacked was fake.
Kperogi said, he spoke directly with the popular Channels Television anchor and was told that, “he is on vacation at the United States and was never fired’, contrary to speculations all over the places.
According to Kperogi, he had an exclusive conversation with the television anchor on Saturday morning, who confirmed that he is currently on vacation in the United States and remains an employee of Channels TV.
He quoted the popular broadcaster as saying “The whole story is fake news.”
This development puts to rest the rumours that had been circulating online since, suggesting that Okinbaloye had been let go by the television station.
Professor Kperogi’s confirmation has allayed the fears of fans and viewers who were concerned about the Politics Today’s anchor with Channels TV.
