Convinced in the ability of members of APC in the state, the APC national leader stressed the need for a united front for all party members so that the party can take over leadership in the 2025 governorship election.

Dr. Ganduje also stressed that unity and commitment is key to achieving victory in the election.

“That election is crucial to the Party and the government at the center because Anambra deserves to be at the mainstream of Nigeria’s politics. We cannot continue to allow Anambra to remain on the sidelines of Nigerian politics, hence the need for all to work in unison for the actualization of this mission”, he added.

On his part, the Anambra APC Chairman, Basil Ejidike urged the council members to develop strategies that will deliver the state for the party in the governorship election.

In his words, “I enjoin you to begin to draw up strategies that will enable the party collectively confront the very arduous task of taking over the seat of governance in Anambra State come 2025. It is pertinent to reiterate that the Party has a target; which is to take over the Agu Awka Government House this time around. In other words, all hands must be on deck, especially in this Council, which is a boardroom of sorts, for incubation of ideas for the good and benefit of the Party”.

Also, the National Vice Chairman, South East, Dr. Arodiogbu Ijomah urged APC members in Anambra state draw strength from the symbol of the broom which signifies togetherness.

He also expressed optimism that the party will win the next gubernatorial election in the state.
