Kebbi Board of Internal Revenue staff trained on tax, audit

No fewer than 22 participants from Kebbi State Board of Internal Revenue have attended a Regional Training on Tax Audit, Investigation, Compliance and Enforcement in Kaduna.

In and statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ahmed Idris, on Friday, he said the training was under the Chairmanship of the Executive Chairman of the board, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi.

Abdullahi said that the training was part of magnanimity of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State.

While appreciating the governor for the foresight, the executive chairman appealed to the participants to make judicious use of the knowledge acquired for enhanced efficiency in their duty post.

He reminded them that their selection to undertake the training was part of desire of the present administration under Kauran Gwandu to boost the internally generated revenue of the state.
