BREAKING: Senator Alex Kadiri dies at 82

Former Senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District, from 1999 – 2007 in the National Assembly, Alex Usman Kadiri is dead.

The late politician died an undisclosed hospital in Abuja after a brief illness at about 2pm.

Dr Alex who hails from Odu in Dekina Local Government Council celebrated his 82nd birthday last Friday in his country home.

CAPITAL POST gathered from a source close to his family that he has been sick and has been in and out of hospitals at home and abroad.

The late Alex had also contested for Kogi State governorship severally without success.0
