Ex-Konga CEO, Imudia commits suicide in Lagos home
The former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, Nick Imudia has committed suicide in his Lagos home over unknown reasons.
Report said the deceased CEO of Konga, one of the e-Commerce giants threw himself from the balcony of his apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos on Tuesday evening.
Before the incident, he was quoted to have contacted his brother in the United States, to advise him on how to distribute his wealth and assets, while he also assured his younger daughter that he would always be there for her.
An online platform, TheWill quoted friends, family and associates of Imudia to have been in shock when the news of Imudia’s death broke out.
An indigene of the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Imudia was previously married to the mother of his young daughter.
The marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the case to our correspondent on Thursday.
“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” Hundeyin said.
