Congress: Senator Natasha meets PDP stakeholders, preaches unity
Lawmaker representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Tuesday, met with the stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Kogi Central as the party prepares for its ward and local government congresses.
In a statement which was issued by her Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel and made available to CAPITAL POST in Abuja, said, the meeting was held at her Abuja residence,and it focuses on issues relating to the party and to ensure seamless and peaceful process during and after the congresses.
Stakeholders in attendance included the House of Representative member representing Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulraheem Abdulmaleek Danga, Kogi PDP State Chairman, Mr Sam Uhuotu, Member representing Ogori-Magongo Local Government at the House of Assembly, Hon.Bode Ogumola, former House of Reps member, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Badamasiu, former Okene Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Yahaya Karaku, amongst others.
The stakeholders engaged in fruitful discussions, focusing on strategies to strengthen party unity, address potential challenges, and ensure a successful outcome in the congresses.
By fostering a collaborative approach, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan and the PDP stakeholders aim to reinforce the party’s presence in Kogi Central and promote harmonious political environment.
