Breaking: Igala Kingdom loses two monarchs again

Nine days after the Attah Igala, Dr. Idakwo Ameh Oboni II, joined his ancestors, two monarchs who works directly with him in the day-to-day royal administration died on Friday.

The monarchs, Onu Idah, Audu Okolo Ocheje and Chief Sulu Ogu, the Onupia of Attah Igala died on Friday after a protracted illness.

Sources said that Idah, the headquarters of Igala Kingdom has been thrown into mourning after the news filtered in.

Chief Sulu Ogu who joined his ancestors was a retired Nigerian Diplomat in New York.

The deceased monarchs are part of the kingmakers of the Igala Kingdom.

CAPITAL POST was yet to confirm the nature of illnesses that killed them as at the time of filing this report.
