Kogi Reps member, Gowon under fire as netizens, says construction of ‘well’ for constituents has diabolical connection
Member representing Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Paul Gowon Haruna has been under fire, since the picture of him in a pose with well which he constructed as part of his Constituency project appeared on the net.
Hon. Haruna who was a former member of Kogi State House of Assembly and a first timer to the House of Representatives could be seen in a pose with a well which he dug in an unknown place in his Federal Constituency came under fire by netizens who most pour condemnations on him.
Gowon Egbunu hails from Iyale in Dekina Local Government Council and was elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Party, APC.
As reactions continue to trail picture of the well he constructed and donated to his constituents, internet users began to post all sort of comments on the their Facebook and X pages including a post of a netizen which CAPITAL POST sighted, saying:
“……kogi, kogi, I know Mr well digger, the well has diabolical connection. You drink the water, you get hypnotized….
Another resident said, “It’s glaring these politicians don’t rate us, a federal lawmaker constructing well and celebrating it as achievement.”
A social media user, jananasauce wrote: “But Peter Obi did water tanks with running taps y’all said it wasn’t good enough 😂😂😂😂😂 okay make Una no fall inside the well ooh.”
Another afro_chillz wrote: “Keep them poor , keep them hungry . That’s the only way little things feel so big to them = Control.”
Disappointed with the honorable, nchofa_k wrote: “And he calls himself honorable 😢for constructing a well that looks a village soakaway.”
