BREAKING: Police declares Kogi born real estate developer, Mubarak Saliu Musa wanted in connection with millions of naira fraud, 419
Alhaji Musa Saliu Mubarak, a Kogi born estate developer in Abuja and a politician has been declared wanted by the Office of the Inspector General of Police IGP in connection with fraud in the range of millions of naira which he allegedly duped his unsuspecting client and went underground.
The publication of his “wanted declaration” in the Special Police Gazette Bulletin”, which was sighted by CAPITAL POST on Tuesday, indicated that Mubarak was placed under criminal investigation by the Police, following series of petition against him, stating that he collected millions of naira from many clients under false pretense.
In the notice reference: CB:35/10LX/FHQ/SEBABJ/T.7/VoOL.1/20, the Police said, Musa who hails from Idah in Kogi East Senatorial District is a male, married, with his residential address at Plot 395, Augustus Aikhomu Way, Utako District, Abuja, could not be seed despite frantic efforts to get him arrested.
Part of the notice read: “Alhaji Musa Saliu Mubarak was declared wanted for failing for failing to honour Police invitation over an allegation of obtaining money under false, cheating and breach of trust.”
CAPITAL POST recalled that the wanted Mubarak was the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP in the 2023 governorship election in Kogi State, which the All Progressives Congress, APC won.
His nomination as the candidate was contained in a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Dr Agbo Major in Abuja, that Mubarak won the governorship primary election in Lokoja, the state capital and which was duly monitored by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
