As Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal begins ruling and is currently trashing petitions between the Social Democratic Party, SDP and the ruling All Progressives Party, APC, the Tribunal has ruled over voting case in favour of Muritala Yakubu Ajaka.
The Court has established that there was election over voting in the five Local Government Councils in Kogi Central Senatorial District.
CAPITAL POST correspondent reports from the Tribunal sitting at the National Judicial Council that argument of the 2nd respondent (the All Progressives Congress) lawmaker contesting over voting in Kogi East which comprised of nine Local Government Councils was dismissed by the Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Birnin-Kudu.
