BREAKING: Plot to bribe Kogi Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Judges leaks [Watshapp messages]

Ahead of Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal ruling scheduled for 13th May, 2024, plot to bribe the panel of justices by Kogi State Governor, Ododo Ahmed Usman has leaked through Watshapp communication between the governor and some of his Commissioner, CAPITAL POST authoritatively reports.

The zoom meeting has been scheduled for 11.pm on Tuesday 30th April, 2024 with select Commissioners and key allies of Ododo to primarily discuss the issue of the ongoing election petition tribunal.

Change of Name

The Commissioners identified for the meeting according to Watsapp Group conversation which was obtained by CAPITAL POST in Lokoja on Thursday, include, Bashir Gegu (Commissioner for,…. Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo, (Commissioner for Information and Orientation) one, Hajiya, another person identified himself as “Honour”, Deedat, DG Oricha, APC State Party Chairman.

However, Bashir Gegu was unable to connect to the meeting due to network issues and he tendered his apologies, saying, “Apologies for not being online for the online meeting

The extract of the conversation on the Watshapp Group which was classified as “ODODO 4 CONS…” Showed that one Mr. Deedat expressed fear over the Tribunal judgment and he said: “how far with the tribunal judges na, I dey fear oo.”

In reply by Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo who was optimistic that the judgment will favour them, said: “My hnourable, no fear oo. Ogah [Governor Ododo] is on top of his game. I spoke with him and he told me that he has converted the entire money into dollars. He don get who go help am deliver to those Judges.
“Even if Ogah turns himself in or not, if the money gets to the judges, we are sure of victory. The enemies will soon cry.”

In their conversation, DG Oricha said, after meeting the judges, the enemies will cry like bush babies, while the party Chairman confirmed that all necessary will be done before meeting the judges.
