Reinstate Betta Edu, corruption against her, handiwork of mischief makers – Civil Rights Analyst
President Bola Tinubu has been implored to push aside false narrative from the victims of forty four point eight billion naira fraud discovered at the National Social Investment Program Agency in 2023, and reinstate the suspended minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Beta Edu.
A U.S.A civil rights Analyst, and Founder, Sustainable National Movement, Kayode Michael Arimoro, made the appeal on Monday in Abuja, saying some disgruntled persons around the President, affected by the large scale fraud exposed by Dr Beta Edu screwed the narrative for her suspension, maintaining that the suspended minister action when she transfered five hundred and eighty seven million naira to a project account was constitutional.
The foundation claimed that the account in which the funds were transfered is a qualify account for the purpose of the transfer, as he claimed that the money reached the intended beneficiaries in different states.
Arimoro explained that Dr. Edu also got approval from the office of accountant general office of the federation, wondering why the suspended minister keeps quiet in the face of unjustifiable allegations.
The foundation however besieged Mr President not to bow for pressure in this case of the suspended minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Beta Edu, it said the minister has been suspended from office four months now.
