BREAKING: Cubana Chief Priest in Court for arraignment
A popular business tycoon and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu fondly called Cubana Chief Priest has appeared at the Federal High Court in Lagos to be arraigned for alleged abuse of naira notes.
The presiding Judge, Justice Kehinde Ogundare ordered him to be docked to face the three count charge related to the misuse of the national currency which he purportedly sprayed and interfered with the country’s currency at a social gathering, contravening the Central Bank Act of 2007.
The alleged incident occurred on February 13, 2024, at Eko Hotel, where Cubana Chief Priest was reportedly captured on camera spraying Naira notes while dancing at the event, particularly focusing on N500 denomination notes, an action considered unlawful.
