BREAKING: Foreign Contractor handling dualisation of Zamfara roads partner with most wanted bandits Leader, Mai-Jakka for security
A foreign firm of Lebanese origin has reportedly paid a huge amount of money to bandits to protect staff and equipment during their road dualisation projects in Zamfara.
A foremost activist, Shehu Mahdi wrote on his X handle (formerly Twitter) explaining how one of the most wanted bandits leader, Mai-Jakka was paid by a Lebanese contractor to protect them.
In a video which Mahdi posted on his X handle, the bandits leader with interlock hair and his associates could be seen with the white Lebanese celebrating partnership in an isolated location in Zamfara State.
The post on X handle reads: “The white Lebanese in the video below is heading a road dualization project in zamfara state.
“The Bob Marley style hair armed guy is a wanted bandit called Mai-Jakka, responsible for most kidnappings, abductions,.rape, killings and maiming along Sokoto-.Gusau Road. Funnily, he is walking freely, prompting one to ask about the purpose of the multi-billion Naira drones.
“Same drones that were deployed anf killed innocent souls on religious celebrations.
“Those can afford to pay for personal safety and protection along high ways should contact the labenese Engineer and learn the art and skills of negotiating with armed non state actors”
