Pam seeks traditional institutions’ support for NCPC
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that the traditional institutions remained the last hope of the common man.
He made the disclosure recently in Biliri, Gombe state when he led States pilgrimage leaders from the north East zone on a courtesy visit to the Mai Tangale, HRH, Abdu Buba in his Palace at Biliri, Gombe state.
He told the Mai Tangale that he was in his Palace to let him know of his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In his words, “I cannot succeed without your support. Your Palace has the aroma of integrity, dignity and honour”.
He commended the Mai Tangale who doubles as the Chairman of the Christian Traditional rulers in the North, called on other traditional rulers in the country to emulate his leadership style.
He assured him that he would continue to pray for him so that he would remain a force to be reckoned with by any government of the day.
The Mai Tangale in his response thanked the NCPC boss for finding time to pay him a courtesy visit alongside with his high powered Delegation.
He thanked Rev. Pam for coming to Tangale land. He assured that he would make sure that there would be a difference in the Gombe state Christian pilgrims welfare Board.
