The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission Rev Yakubu Pam has tasked the youth to shun criminality and be good ambassadors of their communities and Nigeria.

He made the disclosure this weekend during a mega service /welcoming home fellowship in his honour by the Assemblies of God Church, Sot-Gyek, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

In the words of the NCPC boss, “I expect all the youths in this community to shun criminality and be good ambassadors of this community and Nigeria in general”.

He admonished them to work hard and close divisions and be bridge builders. He assured them that as long as God had remembered him, he would surely raise them to become responsible people in the society.

He reiterated that he would make his community proud, adding “I am in a battle field and I need your prayers”, he said.

Rev. Pam lamented that the nation was going through trying moments and as such all hands must be on deck to see the nation through, especially the crisis in the northern Nigeria.

The Christian Pilgrim Officer of the Federation used the platform to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for finding him worthy of the appointment out of millions of Nigerians who would have wished to be appointed into the office of the Executive Secretary of NCPC.

In the same vein, he equally appreciated the Executive Governor of Plateau State, RT Hon Simon Lalong for standing by him and for recommending him for the appointment.

Rev. Pam who was the guest speaker at the service took his scriptural readings from Hebrew chapter 11 verse 1 and Genesis Chapter 17 verse 14 was centred on Faith and trust in the Lord.

It would be recalled that the Executive Secretary of NCPC was appointed on 26th June, 2020, and formally assumed office of 7th July, 2020 .

Since assumption of office, he had been receiving avalanche of receptions and honour from different credible groups in Nigeria among which was the mega Thanksgiving service organised by CAN national leadership in Abuja in honour for his appointment and many others.

The NCPC boss has been an ordained minister of God for over three decades with the Assemblies of God Church and was the District Superintendent of the church in Jos.
