Kogi Election Tribunal: APC jittery over evidence
The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State at the Tribunal on Wednesday in Abuja became jittery over documents fully loaded in three Toyota Hilux to be tendered as evidence, CAPITAL POST reports.
The Court was to continue with cross examination, but has to adjourned to Thursday, 12th March, 2020.
The documents which are voting materials and result sheets were brought to the Court premises amid tight security at the request of the Tribunal.
The APC in Kogi State was to rely heavily on the State High Court judgement delivered by Justice Olorunfemi Olukayode, stating that PDP had no candidate, but was unassailable as at Wednesday’s hearing.
After arguments by both Counsels of the APC and PDP, JS Okutepa’s position was upheld on grounds that the judgment has been appealed.
The Tribunal case is between the Governor, Yahaya Bello of APC and Engr. Musa Wada of PDP.
The Tribunal sitting continues on Thursday.
