EFCC never grill FCC chairman, report is handiwork of mischief makers – Foundation
A pressure group, Musa Wada Foundation, has debunked the claim making the round in the media that, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) grilled the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Moheeba Farida Dankaka, concerning an alleged certificate scandal.
A statement issued by the National Coordinator of the Foundation, Chief Musa Wada maintained that the report is false and has no iota of truth, saying that the report is the handilwork of mischief makers who are hell bent on frustrating the efforts of the hardworking chairman of FCC.
According to him, “there are some people in and outside the Federal Character Commission who are not happy with the good work the Chairman who they see as a woman but forgetting that only God gives power and position to whomever He so wishes”.
He added, “in order to oust her from her exalted position those who want her out have engineered series of petitions with unfounded claims, still God keeps fighting her battles and it is my believe that this too shall pass”.
“I will appeal to those who are hell bent of pushing her out of office by crook means to leave her alone to focus on the job she has at hand, they need not fight God’s favourite”, he said.
It will be recalled that an online medium had reported that, the FCC Chairman is at the EFCC Headquarters, Abuja, where she is answering questions from operatives, looking into several documents presented before them on forgery and submitting false information alleged against the chairman.
