Yahaya Belllo: When the Igalaphobic governor is exiting office after eight cruel years

Igala Student Association (ISA) does not seem to know that Governor Yahaya Bello is the most Igalaphobic, ethnocentric, divisive, non-equitous, iniquitous governor of Kogi State.

If he had his way Kogi East will have only three or four Caretaker Local Government Council Chairmen. He has never believed in the size of the population or the number of LGAs in the East. In Ajaokuta LGA all his appointments for eight years didn’t consider the Igala people from the Ajaokuta native town.

How many commissioners of Kogi East extraction did he leave behind in the cabinet last week when he dissolved it? None.

Yahaya Bello came with an ethnic agenda and has concluded with an ethnic agenda. Thank God he does not have more than two weeks. He has so much anger against Kogi East and her people, including the elected people. The malhandling of Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho is the hallmark and high point of the hatred Yahaya Bello has for the Igala people.

The Deputy Governor Edward Onoja who carried Governor Yahaya Bello on his head was disgraced in public and made to become a shadow of himself by same Governor Yahaya Bello. HE Edward Onoja looked so pitiable, like a chick bitten by water, when he was being berated by Governor Yahaya Bello in same Government House. Bello, a cruel man indeed!

Those close to Audu’s son who visited Governor Yahaya Bello in Abuja yesterday should tell him not to try to visit Governor Yahaya Bello in Lokoja, because the thugs are in Government House Lokoja, not in Abuja.

People are counting the number of days left for the Emperor of Kogi State to vacate office. The governor has so much created hatred among the people for himself. No Governor will be so hated when leaving office as Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State. Not even Governor Audu after his first tenure was so hated.

Many political office holders who worked with the Emperor closely are now in hiding.

The brother from another mother is no longer to be found near his twin brother. The season of twin brotherhood has expired. The COS and the Accountant General seem to have been replaced.

They are also said to be on the run. There is fire on the mountain.
Someone drew attention this evening that Ankpa and Dekina LGC who welded so much violent influence are also in the number of the legion on the run and currently in hiding. What a life. The house that once stood as one has collapsed. Unyi kuji ko.

God will surely deliver the people of Kogi State from imperial governance. The day of freedom is already here.
The people will celebrate the exit of bad governance in Kogi State on the 27th January 2024.
