Thanksgiving Sunday: 2024: A year of enlargement

Text: Exodus 33vs24

This year the Lord will enlarge and increase us in every aspect of our lives.

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭34:24‬ ‭AMP‬‬
[24] For I will drive out and dispossess nations before you and enlarge your borders; nor shall any man covet (actively seek for himself) your land when you go up to appear before the Lord your God three times a year.

This year God will rise up against anything or anyone that wants to stop your progress.

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[15] Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.

Surely they will gather.
But anyone that gather against you must scatter. The reason why they must gather is to showcase God’s hand upon your life.
You don’t need to do anything. God will fight for you and give you peace and victory.
Anyone that stands in your path, God will get them off.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭TPT‬‬
[33] “So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

As long as you make God your priority and you put his house and his kingdom first in your life, you won’t have to worry about anything concerning your life because God will take care of it.
This year, let the desire to seek God’s presence become your number one priority.

‭‭Job‬ ‭34:24 ‭MSG‬‬
He deposes the so-called high and mighty without asking questions, and replaces them at once with others.

When God wants to work in your favour, he doesn’t need to seek the counsel of anyone.
God will set things in order in your life. In this year of enlargement, things will fall in place for you.
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭16:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[6] The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly heritage.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God will enlarge your borders. But he increases your capacity first for the enlargement. He does that so that enlargement does not destroy you.
When God enlarges you, your life becomes a blessing to your generation and makes meaningful impact on others. A solid background is needed to be put in place; God needs to increase your capacity to contain the enlargement he wants to do.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[19] For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.

Many are waiting for you to enjoy what God has packaged for you.

God wants to build your capacity for love, endurance and forgiveness.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit to do this work in us.

When God enlarges you, love will reign in you. You will love others genuinely. You might not love their offences but you will show them love. Your confidence in God will also increase

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[32] I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart.

The reason why you struggle to live right and do what is right is because your heart has not been enlarged.

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:20‭-‬23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[20] My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. [21] Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; [22] For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. [23] Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

When God settles in you, the act as healing when you are sick.

This year, to experience enlargement, it is important that you:
Seek God in prayer.

Giving you material things is not a big issue for God.
God wants you to submit to his will wholeheartedly.

In the course of the enlargement of your heart, faith needs to be increased in you. Not everyone is relevant or advantageous to you this year.
