BREAKING: EFCC freezes N30 billion in private account of NSIPA boss, Halima Shehu
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has frozen the sum of N30 billion in private account belonging to the National Coordinator of National Social Investment Programme Agency, NSIPA, Hajia Halima Shehu.
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday suspended Halima Shehu over corruption allegations and was immediately replaced by another person.
She was immediately arrested by the operatives of EFCC and has been in detention in their facility.
However, interrogation of the suspect reveals that the N30 billion out of the N44 billion was moved to private accounts from the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) accounts, and was frozen by the EFCC.
