“It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we extend our sincere condolences on the passing of Ghali Umar Na’Abba, CFR, the 8th Speaker of the House of Representatives. Our hearts go out to his family, the good people of Kano State and our beloved Nation.

“His contributions to our nation were invaluable, and his legacy as a courageous statesman and dedicated public servant will forever be etched in the annals of our democratic history.

“Hon. Na’Abba’s leadership was marked by a commitment to the principles of democracy, transparency, accountability, and the rule of law. His tireless efforts in advancing the interests of the Nigerian people were evident throughout his tenure. He also fought all forms of interference in legislative functions, leaving an indelible impact on the institution he served with distinction.

“May his soul rest in eternal peace, Amen.”
