BREAKING: Fake Police, thugs plan night invasion of Kogi East communities – SDP Statement

Tension is building up across the Eastern flank of Kogi East as fake Police, thugs loyal to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and officers from Kogi State Police Command are set to carry out night invasion of some communities in the East.

The operation according to the statement issued by the Director of Communications
Muri/ Sam Campaign Gubernatorial Council, Social Democratic Party (SDP), Faruk Adejoh-Audu which was obtained by CAPITAL POST in Lokoja on Sunday, suggested they are the same team that killed Okwo at Ejule few weeks back.

The statement read: “Fake policemen mixed with some rogue police officers of the Kogi State Police Command are being assembled with armed thugs to invade communities in Dekina, Ofu and Ankpa Local and Igalamela-Odolu LGAS of Kogi State this night.

“The rogue force are planning to attack SDP supporters across the four LGAs and engage in mass arrest or possibly execution of party youths.

“The rogue force is embarking On the illegal mission with tons of arms and ammunition which they intend to plant on our supporters and frame them with terrorism.

“While we make efforts to contact the commissioner of police and the State Director of DSS all our supporters are advised to be on full alert.”
