Tinubu Certificate Saga: Peddlers of falsehood, enemies of Nigeria – Sen. Raji Rasaki
The former First Lady of Lagos State, Senator Fatimat Olufunke Raji Rasaki on Thursday bemoaned the falsehood and malicious controversies about President Bola Tinubu academic record at the Chicago State University, saying available facts have settled the intrigue.
Sen. Raji Rasaki in a statement issued and signed in Abuja frown that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Labour Party, LP, Presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi are respectively ambiguous having failed to prove legitimately and sensibly that President Tinubu lost presidential election of February, 2023.
She stressed that parts of the ploy of Atiku, Obi and their adherents is mainly to destabilise and distract the government of the day with falsehood and blackmail. “I am not surprised that the trauma of electoral defeat and ingenuity on the parts on some politicians are still hurting them.
“The embarrassing statistics and propaganda emanating from social media show clearly that they meant no good for this nation. At this particular point in time, I expect a collaboration from all divides to salvage the nation from the present challenges.
“These political naggers should look beyond parochial interest and callousness, moving forward, the elections are over, this is the time for healing and it should be holistic in nature. All hands must be on deck not to draw back the wheel of progress the present government is piloting but for the good of all.” Sen. Raji Rasaki said.
She urged all well meaning Nigerians to condemn this anti-democratic and thoughtless conduct of those she called political cheerleaders, adding, “since no substantial evidence to prove any certificate forgery, according to the Presidential Election tribunal and the recent BBC report, Nigerians should wait till the Apex court determine the winner of the last general elections and stop defaming the nation base on selfish interests.
The 8.9million Nigerians who voted Tinubu made their rightful choices and that had validated the mandate of President Bola Tinubu”.
