Tinubu’s certificate forgery: Ex-Jonathan’s aide accuses Fani-Kayode, El-Rufai of silence
Mr Jackson Ude, a former aide to the ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has accused the former governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru El-Rufai and Chief Femi Fani-Kayode of silence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s certificate saga.
Ude was the former Director of Strategy/Communication under President Goodluck Jonathan, wondering why the duo would maintain sealed lips amidst the controversy around their principal’s academic records.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who contested presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the February 25, general election spoke at a Press Conference on Thursday, accusing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of forging his Chicago State University certificate.
Atiku insisted that Tinubu presented a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, a development generated tension around the country with some persons calling for resignation of President Tinubu.
Ude in a post on his X (formerly known as Twitter) said President Tinubu’s allies said they can not defend the President because they are ashamed of him and have put Nigeria first.
The former presidential aide wrote, “Bola Tinubu’s camp of silence. Have you noticed that the brightest, most intelligent and most formidable of BAT’s generals have kept quiet on this CSU issue and their silence speaks volumes.
“They include Nasir El Rufai, Tunde Fashola, Kashim Imam, Kayode Fayemi, Femi Fani-Kayode, Isa Pantami, Dimeji Bankole, Abdulrahman Dambazau, Bashir Lado, Sen. Mohammed Hassan, Abiodun Faleke and so many more.
“They cannot defend the indefensible. It is only the lowlife, dregs and urchins in his team and his Ministers that are talking.
“All the top guys including key members of his party are ashamed of him and have decided to put Nigeria first.”
