Few days after kidnap of female students from Zamfara State University, terrorists have again kidnapped 9 persons and killed five civilians in Magami, Gusau Local government.
A resident in the area, Malam Ibrahim Abubakar Magami, stated this on Monday, while he expressed the fear that kidnapping would escalate, if drastic steps were not taken by government to nip in the bud.
According to him, the terrorists opened fire on the community after they stormed the town and shot four people to death.
He added that nine people were kidnapped by the terrorists including women and children.
“As I speak to you now, we have buried four of our people according to Islamic right and we have ascertained that nine of our people were kidnapped, including married women and children,” he said.
