BREAKING: APC, PDP governors, Shettima, arrive presidential tribunal
Some All Progressives Congress have arrived the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal venue ahead of historic ruling today (Wednesday).
Also, some Peoples Democratic Party governors were also at the Tribunal venue in solidarity with their presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The Tribunal has set Wednesday for ruling on the petition against the declaration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Those contending the declaration of Tinubu as President by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC are Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Mr Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour Party.
The Vice President, Kashim Shettima arrived at the Election Presidential Tribunal venue that is taking place at the Court of Appeal, Abuja.
Wednesday’s judgment will be delivered by the chairman of the tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, assisted by other members of the panel-Justices Stephen Adah, Monsurat Bolaji-Yusuf, Moses Ugo, and Abba Mohammed.
Also, the All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje; and Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule; Ekiti state governor, Abiodun Oyebanji; Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello; governor of Yobe, Mala Buni; and Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma are among other APC chieftains that arrived at the courtroom to witness the presidential judgment.
Meanwhile, the judgement to be delivered today may not be the finality as the decision of the Tribunal could be appealed at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
