Security operatives should be allowed to go after armed bandits that have been terrorising inhabitants of some communities in Niger State than to engage them in dialogue, the former National President of Miyett Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Alhaji Hussaini Yusuf Bosso has advised.

He explained that it is better for the armed bandits to engage the government to dialogue than the governor to engage them, adding that the armed bandits have wrecked untold havok on villagers and displaced many communities in Niger state.

Alhaji Hussaini Bosso told CAPITAL POST in an exclusive interview in Minna at the weekend, stated that the governor should not for any reason engage them in any dialogue but they should engage the governor.

He noted that engaging them in dialogue will not serve any needful purpose but to allow the relevant security agencies to go after them stressing that the armed bandits does not deserve any peaceful settlement with government.

“If I’m to advise governor Umar Bago, I will advise that he should allow the security men to do their work in going after these gun men.

“These armed bandits have wrecked untold havock on villagers. They have displaced many communities. They killed many lives including military men. Is better for the government to empower the security agencies to do their work than to seek dialogue with them” he declared.

According to Alhaji Hussaini Bosso, for the governor to engage these bandits to dialogue is better for them to seek dialogue from the governor adding that engaging them will not any way serve any purpose.

Recalled that governor Umar Mohammed Bago has disclosed that his administration will dialogue with the armed bandits for them to come forward for a discussion on dialoguing with them to drop their arms.

Governor Umar Bago made the disclosure when some gang of armed bandits killed twenty three military officers along Kundu village in Rafi local government area last two months.

But the former National President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association warned that the governor should not state that the armed bandits does not deserve any dialogue from the government but they should seek for dialogue from the government.
