The Civil Rights Activist and former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has asked the former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II to allow Kaduna people give treatment to Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the way the former governor of Kano State, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje was treated.

Shehu wrote on his social media handle on Friday while reacting to pleas by Emir Sanusi for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reconsider the embattled El-Rufai.
He pointedly told the Emir that what was not good for Kano State as it were, was also not good for Kaduna.
He wrote: “Dear Emir Sanusi II, Your Highness, You have dealt with your own Ganduje, allow us in Kaduna to deal with our own Ganduje.
“What is not good for Kano is also not good for Kaduna. You can’t throw out your own Emperor in Kano and recommend an Emperor for us in Kaduna.
“President Tinubu should not reconsider anything.
“Allah yakara ma Sarki lafiya”
