APC releases fresh governorship campaign list for Kogi

The All Progressives Congress, APC has denied Wednesday’s list as the governorship campaign list for Kogi State, but released a fresh list to be headed by Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In a statement issued by the APC’s National Organising Seretary, Suleiman Argungu on Wednesday in Abuja, said, the National Working Committee has approved a 191 member campaign team to drive the national governorship campaign taking place in Kogi State ahead of the November 11 election.

The new list which was released to journalists by the national Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka indicated Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Chairman to be assisted by the governor of Niger State, Mohammed Bago and Senator Sani Uba of Kaduna State as co-Chairmen.

Notable members such as the National chairman of the APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje; the host governor, Yahaya Bello; Minister of Works, David Umahi and Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle also completed the 191-member campaign council for Kogi State.
