Kogi indigenes in Lagos endorse Muri, vow to vote out Bello’s cousin, Ododo in governorship election
Kogites from Kogi Central, West and East living in Lagos have vowed to relocate home during the November 11 Governorship election to vote the Social Democratic Party, which Alhaji Muritala Ajaka is the Governorship candidate.
They also disclosed that they have their Permanent Voters Card obtained from their various wards across the 21 Local Government Council’s of Kogi State that afforded them to discharge their franchise.
They made their stance known when Muri paid a visit to Lagos as part of the political consultation and campaign of the Kogi Guber candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The massive turnout of Kogites in Lagos further encouraged Ajaka, even as he was also endorsed ahead of the election, while they expressed anger at the foisting of Yahaya Bello’s cousin, Ododo Ahmed Usman as the All Progressive Congress governorship, which they insisted was unfair.
The Chairman of the Face of Igala Worldwide, Chief Dr Alfa Friday while addressing Newsmen in Lagos Saturday at the reception held in honour of the SDP Governorship candidate Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka noted that Kogites could not endeavour to suffer in the hands of Bello under the disguise of Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo again, urged Kogi people to vote out Bello’s candidate for a brighter future.
In his word “we have keenly followed development in Kogi State but under this 7 years of Gov. Yahaya Bello, it was hell with the Kogi people. And we can not continue to remain under this torment where Salary are not paid the Local Government Staff, no consideration for the Civil Servant amidst the inflationary trend occasioned by Subsidy removal. Imagine, other states of the Federation developed a palliative measure to cushion the effect of Civrl Servert but Gov. Bello does not have such plan for his civil servants” he expressed.
He revealed that the candidacy of Muri was divinely arranged by God to alleviate the poverty of Kogi people, stressing that, no stone would be left unturned in making sure the SDP candidateslh Muritala Yakubu Ajaka was announced the Governor of Kogi State come November 11.
Chief Dr Alfa further frown at the current intimidation and victimisation of the APC thugs again the supporters of the God-chosen candidate of Social Democratic Party.
