Deputy Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly resigns

Deputy Speaker of Niger State Hiuse of Assembly, Hon. Bako Kasim Alfa has resigned his position.

His resignation was announced by the Speaker during Thursday’s plenary

In a.letter he submitted to the Speaker, Bako did not disclose reason for quitting the stage, neither did the Speaker while reading the letter on the floor.

Meanwhile, a member representing Paikoro constituency, Suleiman Gambo Aninigi moved for his replacement which was seconded by member representing Kontagora Constituency, Sale Ibrahim Alhaji.

Hon. Jibrin Ndagi Baba, representing Lavun State constituency has been elected Deputy Speaker.
